Niccolo Suzhou Makes Shimmering Debut

Looking for somewhere new to stay in Suzhou? Then check into Niccolo Suzhou, which opens this month in the legendary canal town. Situated atop the new Suzhou International Finance Square and overlooking the city’s canals and Jinji lake, it’s located within the Suzhou Industrial Park and within walking distance of the International Convention and Exhibition Center.

A shimmering glass structure shaped like a fish tail, the landmark tower was built as an auspicious tribute to the rivers and canals of the city known as the Venice of the East. It’s the creative vision of architects Kohn Pederson Fox, which designed Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills and Hong Kong’s ICC building. The 233-room hotel features 20 suites and has a tea lounge and bar located on the 115th floor, along with a sky gym and sky pool & jacuzzi on the 117th floor.
