Andaz Xiamen adds class to China’s Southeast Coast

Envisioned as a modern Nanyang-style mansion, Andaz Xiamen recently opened in this popular seaside town along China’s southeast coast. Influenced by traditional local design, the 304 guest rooms, including 20 suites with separate living rooms, feature rattan-backed armchairs, woven bamboo panelling and timbre louvres. There are four dining options including No. 101 Chinese Restaurant for Minnan and Chaozhou cuisine and Hyatt’s signature Beijing duck and Andaz Lounge, where you can sample a signature ice cream made from green mango and Fujian black tea. Other amenities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre and almost 2,000 sqm of meeting space.
