Sheraton Belitung Makes Debut in Sumatra

Located on Belitung island off the eastern coast of Sumatra, the Sheraton Belitung is surrounded by 200 hectares of designated wildlife reserve that’s home to tarsiers and dugongs. The 164 guest rooms pay tribute to the local area with fishing nets and crab baskets while furniture is crafted from natural materials like wood and granite stone. The hotel has three restaurants, including Seafood Market where guests can sample the catch of the day, while amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, outdoor infinity pool and Sheraton’s Shine Spa.
