Embark on a sonic journey with Kef speakers at Hotel Icon

Take a musical trip down memory lane with Kef speakers at Hotel Icon this Autumn. From 1 October-30 November, guests can bed down in thematic pop-up suites and sample curated menus while streaming their favourite Cantonese movies or listening to the Spotify playlist curated by DJ Dr. Wong Chi Chung. Inspired by John Lennon and David Bowie, the spacious Club 80 Harbour Suite features a photographic tribute to the Thin White Duke and documents about The Beatles from the BBC Archives. The in-room listening experience is amplified with KEF’s newly-launched LS50 Wireless II, the world’s first wireless speakers with metamaterial absorption technology.

The musical tributes continue in the hotel’s Club 65 Studio Suite, with soundtracks from ‘80s Hong Kong movies, when Cantopop reached its peak with Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui and Beyond. Decked out with music-inspired décor along with vinyl and books from the era, guests can play the music playlist through the Egg Duo and LSX Soundwave Edition speakers. Vivienne Tam’s Designer Suite, meanwhile, embraces the jazz age with tunes from Chet Baker, Miles Davis and Norah Jones piped through Kef’s Reference 1, LS50 Wireless II, Egg Duo and Muo speakers.
