Etihad Airways resumes flights to Shanghai

Etihad Airways has resumed passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai. The service will operate with an initial weekly flight on Boeing 777-300ER, leaving Abu Dhabi at 1am and reaching Shanghai at 13.50pm. On the return flight, it departs Shanghai at 23.40 and lands at Abu Dhabi at 05.10am.

Guests travelling on Etihad to China will need to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test result received within 72 hours prior to departure from Abu Dhabi, or from their departure airport if they are transferring from other cities via Abu Dhabi.

In the UAE, guests travelling to all Etihad destinations including Shanghai can make use of a new paid home testing service introduced in collaboration with Mediclinic. UAE-based travellers can book a COVID-19 PCR test at their home or at a Mediclinic facility in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Dubai prior to travel.
