Casa Cook opens adult only hotel in Egypt

Casa Cook, a collection of lifestyle hotels catering to independent travellers owned by the Fosun Tourism Group, has opened a property on the sun-drenched shores of Egypt’s Red Sea, Casa Cook El Gouna.

Each of the 10o rooms features raw wooden furnishings and tarnished ceramics to create a sense of pared-back luxury. All rooms at the adult-only hotel have their own private terrace, while villas boast two bedrooms and their own private pool.

There are two eating and drinking options: the Kitchen Club, which opens onto panoramic views of the lagoon, and the Beach Club, where DJs spins live sets. Facilities include a gym and yoga shala and spa with indoor pool, sauna, hammam, plunge pool and five treatment rooms. Taking advantage of its prime location on the cusp of the Red Sea, the hotel has its own kiteboarding centre in partnership with leading wind and water sport supplier Duotone.
