Hong Kong Heritage Destination House 1881 Reopens

The former Marine Police Headquarters in Tsim Sha Tsui has been transformed into a cultural hub for celebrations, family gatherings and community activities comprising five dining concepts and a newly-renovated boutique hotel. Previously known as Hullett House, the heritage development has been renamed House 1881 and is now managed by hospitality group FWD, which has revamped the restaurants and renovated the guest suites at this Kowloon landmark. Tim Oliver, FWD group chief Customer & Marketing Officer, says, We’re planning to host regular activities that take full advantage of the property’ historic courtyard and surrounding gardens and showcase its enduring legacy and charm to both locals and overseas visitors alike.”
