Patek Philippe Launches with Twenty-4 Automatic

Nearly 20 years after the debut of iconic women’s watch the Twenty-4, Patek Philippe has created the Twenty-4 Automatic, the first model of the collection with a self-winding mechanical movement in a round case, available in stainless steel or rose gold.

With its pocket and pendant watches decorated with refined artisanal techniques, Patek Philippe has won the hearts of many a discerning female customer, including Queen Victoria, who purchased a blue enamel timepiece in 1851. The manufacture’s first strikework wristwatch in 1916 was a ladies’ masterpiece with five-minute repeater. A growing demand for wristwatches during the art deco era, meanwhile, gave the brand an opportunity to craft eye-catching models of differing shapes and decorations.
