Hong Kong Airlines Invites Students to Auckland for Trip of a Lifetime

Hong Kong Airlines encourages active learning outside the classroom to help the younger generation widen its horizons and gain global perspectives. Its renowned Embrace the World programme sees the airline fly more than 1,000 students abroad to study tours every year, and invites the most outstanding to visit different countries and learn more about the aviation industry.

Eight students journeyed to Auckland, New Zealand for a week-long trip this February to experience the local Māori culture and meet Hong Kong Airlines’ very first cadet pilots. The students also stepped into the cockpit of a small aircraft and enjoyed the thrills of an aircraft simulator.
