Turkish Delight: Six Senses Kaplankaya Debuts New Look

Six Senses Kaplankaya has partnered with New York’s Clodagh Design to bring a new look to the property that’s set to debut this May and will bring the property in line with Six Senses design, sustainability and wellness standards.

Located across the bay from Bodrum, the resort is carved into giant rock formations with green roofed buildings layered down towards the coastline. Embracing contemporary architecture and high tech comfort, flat weave carpets in rooms and tables crafted from olive wood in the lobby showcase the hotel’s commitment to keeping it local.

The resort’s dining programme, Eat with Six Senses, helps guests eat more healthily by sourcing ingredients from the hotel’s organic garden and other local produce from nearby villages. Mediterranean and Aegean-inspired cuisine can be sampled at all three dining venues, Sage & Sea, Wild Thyme, and Mezze by the Sea. Guests can mix up their own curatives at the Alchemy Bar on the wellness floor, which features a live green wall.
