Jacada Travel Launches a World War II Tour Through England and France

History buffs take note: Jacada Travel has launched a World War II-themed tour of England and France. Travelling through London, southern England, Normandy and Paris, it takes in some of the most important sites and landmarks of the Second World War, from the Churchill War Rooms to the sites of the D-Day landings.
Starting in London with an evocative private tour dedicated to the Blitz, the tour will then take in Duxford’s Imperial War Museum, Winston Churchill’s former home, Chartwell, as well as the naval city of Portsmouth, home of the command for the D-Day landings. Then it’s on to France for a three-night stop in Normandy visiting some of the country’s most historic sites including several of the beaches where the D-Day landings took place. The tour concludes with a stop in Paris, where a private guide will take the tour through the key moments of the German occupation until the city’s liberation in 1944.
