Dhabab, the Golden dhow, Sets Sail from Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman

A classic Omani dhow recently made its maiden voyage from Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman.

A private cruiser that hosts up to six guests, this handcrafted vessel recalls the golden age of Arabian voyages, cruising the Musandam fjords at a leisurely 10 knots.

The boat can host up to six guests in one king and two twin cabins and is equipped with an air-conditioned saloon, sun decks, dining areas, cinema and large open galley. There is a chef and butler onboard the three-day, two-night tailored itinerary for hotel guests.

From Zighy Bay, the vessel explores the coast of Musandam where the Hajar Mountains frame fishing villages and guests can explore secluded bays teeming with marine life. In addition to kayaking and fishing, there are also options to take a cooking class with the chef, book a bespoke dive or bring a spa therapist on board.
