New Openings in Beijing, Xiamen and KL

Urban Resort Concepts, operators of Shanghai’s acclaimed Puli hotel, will open a series of captivating new hotels, commencing with the unveiling of the 116-room Puxuan Beijing Hotel & Spa in Q4 2017, the group announced at ILTM Asia.

Housed above the new China Guardian auction house, the new urban hideaway will boast views of the Forbidden City, and will include an on-site museum, courtyard, event spaces, a 1,000sqm URSpa, and dynamic dining outlets.

With chic, minimalist interiors by Remedios Studios, the new hotel will be minutes from Beijing’s commercial and shopping districts. Rooms will feature luxurious linens, ShangXia original furniture, and Loewetelevisions.

Urban Resort Concepts also announced plans for The Ruma Hotel & Residences in Kuala Lumpur, which will open in mid-2018 with 253 guest rooms and suites and 200 residences, a signature restaurant, and a location at the heart of the Malaysian capital. A quintessential urban resort, The Ruma will pay subtle homage to Malaysia’s colonial heritage, and will feature state of the art facilities within a soothing resort

Also set to open in late 2018, The Pushang Hotel & Spa in Xiamen will offer a beachfront location with 175 guest rooms and suites, two bars and lounges, as well as two restaurants, a signature URSpa, and close proximity to the city’s new central business district.
