Rosewood Brings Asaya Wellness Concept to Phuket

Rosewood Phuket, the hotel group’s first resort in Asia, will open later this year along a 600-metre beachfront at Emerald Bay along the southwest coast. It will introduce the brand’s integrative wellness concept, Asaya, to Thailand, which launched last December.

The spa has six villas, including a VIP villa with Watsu pool, and its own garden for flowers and herbs to be used in treatments. There’s a focus on specialised healing treatments, with the chance to sample therapies including Chi Nei Tsang, sound therapy and Reiki at the spa.

One of the island’s last remaining areas for a secluded beach resort, the resort comprises 71 pavilions and villas, where furnishings crafted from natural materials combine with neutral colour palettes and subtle Thai influences. There are two accommodation options, the pavilions, which start at 130 sqm and villas, which measure in at 211 sqm. All have their own infinity pool.
