Hoshino Resorts Opens its First Hoshinoya in Bali

Japanese luxury hotel company Hoshino Resorts has opened Hoshinoya Bali, its first Hoshinoya hotel outside of Japan, providing holiday-makers with a harmonious natural environment nestled in the lush hills of Ubud, famous for its Balinese traditional crafts and dance. Designed like an ancient Balinese village setting, and overlooking the Pakerisan river, part of a Unesco-listed heritage landscape, the new resort offers three villa categories – Villa Bulan, Villa Soka, and Villa Jalak – each of whichboasts walls and furniture covered with traditional Ubud carvings and connects to a semi-private pool area.

There is a gazebo,a café with a roof made of a sacred alang-alanggrass; an expansive terrace overlooking the jungle; and three swimming pools that stretch the length of the resort village.On-property dining includes traditional Balinese cuisine and dishes incorporating local ingredients as well as Japanese culinary techniques.
