Park Hyatt Bangkok to Open in 2017

Soon to be the city’s newest luxury retreat, five-star hotel Park Hyatt Bangkok will open early next year, offering a home-away-from-home for travelers staying in the Thai capital.

Located in the new Central Embassy building at the heart of Bangkok’s key shopping and entertainment district, the hotel is connected to a luxury shopping mall and entertainment centre, which offers 45 bars and restaurants.

The hotel boasts 222 luxurious rooms and suites that will provide spaces to relax, re-energize, and connect; the hotel’s 32 premier suites boast wraparound windows offering unobstructed views of Thailand’s bustling capital. The hotel will also feature numerous outdoor terraces with lush gardens, which will be complemented by a 30-metre infinity pool, and a 2,000sqm of venue spaces, including an elegant pillarless ballroom with direct car park access, that are ideal for creative events.

The hotel exterior, designed by London-based Amanda Levete Architects, is characterised by an assembly of extruding aluminum tiles, which will turn Park Hyatt Bangkok into a modern, architectural landmark for the region. The hotel’s modern interiors have been designed by New-York design duo YabuPushelberg to create a calm and stylish environment with touches of traditional Thai heritage.

Dining and entertainment options include The Bar, specialising in vintage wines, champagnes, and creative cocktails, making for a perfect spot for catchups; the Embassy Room, which offers Western- and Asian-influenced cuisine; the Living Room, a light-filled space that offers light meals throughout the day; and the Penthouse Bar & Grill, a 3.5-floor signature entertainment complex comprising a speakeasy, VIP area, and restaurant with an open show kitchen.
