Grand Hyatt Taipei Opens New Luxury Spa

Twenty-six years after openings its doors, Grand Hyatt Taipei has launched its first spa. Perfect for travellers looking for exceptional spa experiences, the new Oasis Spa provides guests with luxury European-inspired skincare treatments, with views overlooking a tranquil rock garden.

The Oasis Spa features three treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite, heated thermal baths, steam and sauna rooms, and a cold plunge pool. The expertly-curated treatment menu features a variety of body scrubs and wraps, custom facials, and massages, as well as a selection of two- or three-hour signature journeys, each designed to calm, revive, heal and renew depending on the guests’ needs. Products by US skincare brand Kerstin Florian are incorporated throughout.

One of the spa’s signature experiences, Calm, uses moor mud from Hungary’s Heviz Lake, the largest mineral lake in the world. The 180-minute treatment includes a therapeutic moor mud body wrap to promote circulation and release toxins, and a Swedish-style deep tissue massage to knead away aches and pains, followed by a moisturizing moor mud mask to lift, firm and hydrate the skin.
