Adler Yoga Holidays: “Let Your Soul Fly”

Travellers looking for a yoga holiday destination in which to de-stress, improve yoga practice, or simply switch off the phone for a few hours should check into Italy’s leading wellness hotel group, Adler Spa Resorts’ properties in Tuscany and the Dolomites, which has launched a series of yoga retreats that emphasise mindfulness, nature, and digitally detoxing.

Learn breathing techniques at Hotel Adler Balance’s Ayurveda Special week, October 23-30, led by pioneering Ayurvedic chef Volker Mehl, which will include a dedicated Pranayama (breathing) class, alongside private Ayurvedic consultations and treatments, cooking tips and daily delicacies, as well as daily Yin-Yoga class.

Hatha-Yoga and Vinyasa-Yoga teacher Veronika Rössl promises a week-long yoga retreat at Adler Mountain Lodge November 20-27, which will challenge and empower participants through a series of mindful hikes and candle-lit meditation sessions. Thanks to its rural setting in the heart of the Unesco-listed Dolomites, this is the perfect yoga holiday for those wishing to get in touch with nature.

Adler Thermae’s Yoga Antistress with Barbara Woehler programme, from November 27 to December 1, will ensure guests take a digital detox for hours each day, as it includes two hatha yoga sessions of two hours per day, covering the areas of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), and yoga nidra (deep relaxation). The panoramic vistas from the hotel of the Val d’Orcia’s gentle rolling hills also entice guests to switch off, self-reflect and meditate.
