Luke Mangan Joins Eastern & Oriental Express for Culinary Journey

Lovers of fine food and luxury travel will have a one-off opportunity to savour Australian celebrity chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan’s insightful cuisine on an Eastern & Oriental Express journey between Singapore and Bangkok departing October 28, 2016.

Mangan and his Singapore-based team will join E&O executive chef Yannis Martineau to showcase the former’s signature clean and contemporary menus aboard Asia’s most luxurious train.

In Singapore, guests will be invited to join Mangan for a morning tour of an exotic food market before boarding the train for the three-day, two-night journey that will travel through Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. On day two of the journey, Mangan will take up the challenge of serving specially created menus from the train’s galley to guests in the dining cars.

The train carries 82 guests in all en-suite air-conditioned cabins with two dining cars, a lively bar car, and outdoor observation car from which to enjoy the scenic landscapes of Southeast Asia.
