Aurora Expeditions to Offer Antarctic Photography Experience

Aurora Expeditions has teamed up with Canon Collective – the social community of leading photography and camera brand Canon Australia - to offer travellers an exclusive photography experience on an expedition to Antarctica and South Georgia this November.

The 18-day Photographer's First Light expedition will depart Santiago, Chile, with a flight to Stanley, Falkland Islands, on November 19, and finish in Punta Arenas, Chile, on December 6. An on-board photography program will be delivered by award-winning polar photographer Joshua Holko and inspiring environmental photographer Martyn Lucas. Guests will have chances to capture the early-season light, soaring seabirds, and at least three species of penguin. From small inflatable crafts 'Zodiacs', passengers will cruise past and snap intricately-shaped icebergs and giant glaciers.

The expedition is priced from US$14,300 per person and includes all on-board accommodation and meals, daily excursions, expert guides, photography workshops, and use of Canon's latest equipment.
