Alila Debuts in Anji, China

Alila Hotels and Resorts has debuted in China with the opening of AlilaAnji. Nestled in Anji County, in the heart of Zhejiang province’s pristine bamboo plantations, the new eco-luxury resort offers travellers a memorable stay surrounded by natural beauty.

AlilaAnji is designed to resemble a traditional Chinese village, with white-washed exteriors and sweeping dark-tiled roofs. Offering stunning lake views, the resort comprises 74 stately villas and guest rooms, which combine native woods, bamboo and stone with soft furnishings to create a warm sanctuary.

For culinary delights, Lake View serves a bountiful selection of Asian and Western dishes, while Hidden Dragon is an authentic Chinese restaurant with five private dining rooms. AlilaAnji also offers bespoke dining experiences, such as gourmet picnics and candlelit dinners by the lake, on the jetty, or in a lush bamboo forest.

The luxurious resort also boasts the country’s first Spa Alila, which features seven treatment rooms and an extensive menu of health, beauty and restorative treatments, including a range of traditional Chinese healing therapies.
