Hotel Café Royal Offers Sunrise Yoga

Travellers staying at Hotel Café Royal in London can now sign up for the outdoor sunrise yoga session recently introduced by the hotel’s award-winning spa, Akahsa Holistic Wellbeing Centre. Taking place on the private terrace of the Dome Penthouse, guests will be led through a 60-minute class by one of Akasha’s trained yoga instructors while enjoying panoramic views of the city.

The outdoor class will focus on realigning the mind and body through a series of postures, known as asanas, which flow dynamically together to strengthen, stretch and relax. The practice helps energize, detoxify, build concentration, and get the heart pumping, waking up tired muscles and opening the lungs.

The open-air sunrise yoga classruns every Tuesday morning throughout July and August, at 7.30am. Each class is complimentary to members of Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre, while the cost for hotel guests is GBP20 (US$22). The fee for those visiting externally is GBP95 (US$105), including a day pass for Akasha’s facilities, with full use of the gym, swimming pool, heat therapies and relaxation areas.
