Menjangan Dynasty Resort to Bring “Glamping” to North Bali

Travellers in search of a one-of-a-kind accommodation option in north Bali should watch out for the Menjangan Dynasty Resort, which will open its doors in August 2016. Offering a unique “glamping” (glamorous camping) experience, the remote resort is surrounded on three sides by the Indian Ocean and a calm lagoon with a white sandy beach.

The resort features 24 beach camp tents, two one-bedroom tented villas, and two two-bedroom clifftop tented villas. Set against the impressive backdrop of neighbouring Java’s towering peaks, namely Mt Raung, Ijen and Baluran, all tents feature flat screen TVs and DVD players, minibars, IDD telephones and full bathroom amenities. They are also blessed with uninterrupted views of the ocean and Menjangan Island.

There is a 158sqm infinity swimming pool on a small cliff with a waterfall that cascades into a lower pool that overlooks the PasirPutih Beach Club & Bar, where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails whilst watching dramatic sunsets. Other facilities include a seamless buggy service to navigate around the resort, a dive centre, a spa, an exercise room, and a bamboo Wantilan, perfect for weddings and events.
