China Rouge Reopens at Galaxy Macau

China Rouge, the luxury nightclub at Galaxy Macau, has reopened and is ready to set the local scene alight once again with its inimitable East-meets-West style.

China Rouge is a one-of-a-kind entertainment lounge that celebrates the glamour of old Shanghai, but gives it a twist with contemporary art, design and modern amenities. The new incarnation retains the sumptuous interiors that were famously designed by leading designer Alan Chan and inspired by seminal Art Deco painter and designer Erté. Guests are still able to surround themselves with compelling, cutting-edge art by the likes of Chen Men and Buhua.

New to the lounge is an entertainment program which features professional artists from around the world. These talented performers blend contemporary music with standard classics, offering the perfect ambiance for a relaxing night out with friends and business colleagues.

China Rouge has also introduced a revamped food and beverage menu. This includes an exquisite cocktail list of award-winning and signature creations that can only be experienced at China Rouge, such as the Eastern Fashioned, made from a large measure of Johnnie Walker Black Label, Mandarine Napoleon liqueur, orange juice, a dash of Old Time Aromatic Bitters, and infused Grand Marnier with dry Tangerine; and Shanghai Iced Tea, a concoction of Absolut vodka, Bombay Sapphire gin, Cointreau and Bacardi Superior rum, a hint of Chu Yeh Ching Chiew liqueur, and homemade sweet and sour.

Guests who are feeling peckish can savour the club’s carefully selected list of tantalizing bar bites that cover the spectrum from modern cuisine to comfort food. Innovative creations include duck wraps with plum sauce; rice paper rolls with prawns, mango and mint vinaigrette; and chorizo flambéed with brandy.
