137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok to Open in Late 2016

Following the success of their 30-suite 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai, the Wongphanlert family is set to open 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok in late 2016. The new property will be located on SukhumvitSoi 39, a short distance from the upscale and fashionable shopping districts of EmQuartier and Emporium.

Designed by Bangkok’s Palmer and Turner, 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok will offer 34 exquisitely-appointed suites and 179 private residences, featuring warm palettes, exquisite white and grey marble bathrooms, and the expansive use of mirror and glass.

The hotel suites, ranging from 70sqm to 127sqm in size,will feature dining tables, butler service, mood lighting, high ceilings, and large walk-in wardrobes. Each suite will also include a spacious balcony, complete with a signature rocking chair and an oversized daybed for two.The 137 Pillars Residences will combine world-class facilities with spacious, elegantly-furnishedspaces ranging from studios to one and two bedroom apartments, all with spacious private balconies.

In addition to the hotel’s signature ‘by invitation only’ Louis Leonowens Club, and Jack Bain's Bar and Cigar Divan, 137 Pillars Suites & Residences will also offer two restaurants for gastronomic delights. The exquisite Nimitr specialty restaurant will serve Thai favourites with a molecular twist as well as Western delicacies created by group executive chef and culinary artist Peter Marx from Sweden, whileall-day dining bistro and deli The Bangkok Trading Post will provide Western and Asian favourites as well as freshly baked breads, coffee and specialty beverages.

The hotel will also boast the Sky Bar; a rooftop infinity edge pool on the 32nd floor;as well as a spa and wellness centre with a separate yoga and meditation sala, offering activities like aerial flow yoga, tai chi, Reiki and dance. Each guest will be given a mobile phone with a local chip for the duration of their stay, whileatuktuk shuttle servicewill also be available for guests travelling to Bangkok BTS Skytrain and MRT underground trains.

A third property, 137 Pillars Estate Phuket, is scheduled to open in early 2019 on the North Peninsula of Kata Beach, with 16 sunset facing Pool Villas and 46 Pool Suites.  www.137pillarshotels.com
