All Aboard for Berlin

The legendary Orient Express train continues to wind its way on inspiring journeys through Europe as the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, and in 2016, this iconic train journey will offer guests a new experience with a voyage to Berlin.

The new route will take passengers on a golden-age experience through three of Europe’s greatest capitals, London, Paris and Berlin. The two-day, one-night journey departs London; ambles through northern France, stopping in the captivating French capital of Paris; then meanders through the picturesque German countryside before finally arriving in Berlin, where passengers will spend the weekend exploring this fascinating city.

On board, guests will enjoy the elegance of the golden age of travel with luxurious vintage carriages decked out with wooden marquetry, ornate furnishings, and fine-dining, classic cocktails and live entertainment in the elegant dining and bar cars.

The inaugural London-Paris journey departs London on Thursday, June 2, 2016, and returns from Berlin on June 4. Prices start from GBP2,210 (US$3,390) per person for a shared double cabin and all meals.
