Hollywood Goes to Sweden

The Grand Hotel Stockholm has launched four new spa treatments. Two are indulgent skin treatments developed in collaboration with renowned dermo-cosmetic company Biologique Recherche, while the others are exclusive massages.

The new skin treatments, Grand Glow and Instant Glow, featuring a high concentration of marine and biological extracts, which along with essential fruit acids and boosters, help reduce fine lines and dark circles to generate immediate and long-term results. Grand Glow is a powerful firming treatment that brings out the skin’s natural radiance, while Instant Glow provides a quick lift when skin needs a pick-me-up.

The products used in these two facials are used in the most reputable beauty clinics and salons around the world and favoured by professional skin therapists and Hollywood celebrities. The high-quality products are administered only by carefully trained skin therapists who have specific experience with this product line.

“It feels great to offer our clients the very latest in beauty treatments, and the results are glowing to say the least,” said Grand Hotel’s CEO Pia Djupmark. “With these treatments on our menu, guests of the Grand Hotel Nordic Spa & Fitness have access to something unique, offered by only a select few establishments around the world.”

The two new massages, Flow and Chakra Flow Massage are designed to easy muscle tension and rebalance the body. Flow is a soothing 45-minute massage of the scalp, hands and feet that helps spaophiles unwind, while the Chakra Flow Massage is a gentle yet deep treatment that helps stimulate and balance the body’s energy centres and can be selected as a 75 or 90-minute ritual.

The Flow and Chakra Flow Massage rituals are priced at SEK1,295 (US$157) and SEK1,295/SEK1,995 (US$157/US$252) respectively. The 60-minute Grand Glow facial is priced at SEK2,100 (US$254) while the shorter 30-minute Instant Glow treatment is SEK1,295 (US$157).
