Australian retreat Peppers Salt Resort & Spa will host a series of weekend yoga retreats in 2015, offering guests three unique opportunities to relax with a rejuvenating weekend of self-discovery in the picturesque surrounds of seaside Kingscliff, just 20 minutes from the Gold Coast. The yoga retreats have been designed for beginners through to experienced practitioners and combine dynamic yoga, wholesome cuisine, and a day spa experience at the acclaimed The Spa at Salt.


Hosted by Yoga TV host Kris McIntyre, the weekends will vary to suit the changing needs of the seasons according to Ryogo - a form of yoga therapy combining traditional Indian Hatha poses with the meridian based healing arts of China and Japan. The 2015 Yoga Program includes a Women's Health Retreat focusing on digestion, weight loss, improving energy levels, and kicking sugar cravings (March 6-8); a Mother and Daughter Retreat (Mother's Day weekend May 8-10) focusing on bladder strength, lower back and core strength, and stress release; and a Spring Cleanse Retreat focusing on improving flexibility, eyesight, and joint problems (September 11-13). Priced from AU$599 (US$469) per person twin share, the all-inclusive escape includes two nights' accommodation, full buffet breakfast daily, five yoga classes, a yoga mat, a 50-minute spa treatment at The Spa at Salt, wholesome meals including dinner on Friday as well as lunch and dinner on Saturday prepared by Peppers Salt Resort & Spa's onsite restaurant Season, full use of resort leisure facilities, unlimited in-room movies, and more.
