Alain on Tour

Dynamic chef Alain Devahive Tolosa will visit the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong as the second stop on his Asian tour, with a showcase of his culinary talents at Ozone from February 27-March 3. No stranger to his fans in Asia after a recent role at Catalunya and opportunities to create waves on both Hong Kong and Singapore's culinary scenes, Chef Alain has fascinated gastronomic connoisseurs around the world with his unique approach to cooking. The Barcelona-born chef spent a decade at the world-famous three-star Michelin elBulli, regarded as the best restaurant in the world until its closure, before going a step further to elBullitaller, the restaurant's food research laboratory. His culinary style and Asian experiences will change the way diners understand today's Spanish food, and his Asian tour will be an opportunity for diners to delve into a world of sophisticated flavours and experimental cuisines.

During his visit to the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, chef Tolosa will serve up his top ten tapas dishes, as well as a tasting menu, highlights of which include avocado and king crab wrap with “caviar”; Mediterranean red prawns carpaccio; and crispy suckling pig belly with scallops and artichokes. An enticing selection of tapas is available from HK$98, and a six-course tasting menu is priced at HK$780 per person.
