Wine, Glorious Wine

The St. Regis Bali Resort will host a bespoke wine and dine event on November 11, featuring the exclusive wines of Château Angéluson. This is the resort's second collaboration with Château Angélus after its first wine and dine event in 2010.

 

Together with winery representative and co-owner Jean-Bernard Grenie,  multi-awarded Chief SommelierHaraldWiesmann will present a total of eight extraordinary wines from Château Angelus, including Le Carillion and its two sister estates, Château Bellevue and Château La FleurSaint Georges.

 

To commence the evening, wine aficionados will first be indulged with one of the finest Champagnes, Comtes de Champagne, Taittinger Blanc de Blanc 2000. Unprecedented in exclusivity and elegance, this gastronomic experience will highlight three premier Château Angélus Premier Grand Cru Classé A from 2006, 2007 and 2011. Château Angélus Premier Grand Cru Classé A are often celebrated in the same stature as prestigious wines from world renowned Châteaux including Cheval Blanc, Lafite, Latour, Margaux, or Mouton Rothschild.

 

 To accompany the exquisite wines, Kayuputi Chef de Cuisine AgungGede will once again showcase his culinary talents as he hand-crafts an unrivalled six-course degustation menu, highlighting premium ingredients including wild venison, fresh lobster, succulent duck and foiegras, tender Toriyama Umami Wagyu beef, French cheeses, and Valrhona chocolate.
