Revisit the Golden Age of Travel

Luxury travel experts Belmond have announced an exclusive journey for summer 2015 that will see guests travel from Stockholm, Sweden to Venice, Italy aboard the company’s legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train, an icon of travel’s golden age. The trip departs Stockholm Central Station on June 6, 2015, and arrives at Venice’s Santa Lucia station on the morning of June 10.

Onboard the luxurious train, guests will be treated to leisurely multi-course meals, prepared by skilled French chefs and served in the gorgeous restaurant cars; delicious cocktails at the elegant bar car; and private cabins that recall the heyday of opulent train travel, and are tranquil havens for enjoying lingering breakfasts and sumptuous afternoon teas. The five-day, four-night journey is broken in Copenhagen, Denmark, where guests will stay in a luxury hotel for two nights, explore the city’s parks, museums, and shopping at their leisure, and enjoy a lavish dinner at a secret venue.

The Stockholm – Venice journey aboard the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express is priced from US$7,420 per person.
