Fit for a…Beach Boy?

One of Beijing’s most fascinating houses of slumber, the Hotel Éclat, has added a chic Miami-themed suite to its collection of indulgent urban retreats. Decked out in white, pink, and grey, with eye-popping artwork by Feng Zhengjie, a long white leather couch, a private 10m plunge pool and extensive covered “sun deck”, and its own white grand piano, the suite promises to be the capital’s most opulent, and unique. As with other suites in the hotel-cum-art gallery, contemporary artwork resounds throughout the extensive suite, which boasts a full kitchen, its own wet bar, indoor and outdoor dining, and a chic master bedroom.

A night in any of the hotel’s suites also includes complimentary minibar, complete with an Illy espresso machine and Riedel glassware; access to the exclusive Éclat Lounge, where complimentary breakfast as well as afternoon tea is served, and bathroom amenities by London’s Miller Harris.

No stranger to art, the Small Luxury Hotels of the World member already boasts the largest private collection of Salvador Dali works outside Europe, as well as an extensive and ever-changing collection of dramatic contemporary art pieces from emerging Chinese artists.
