R’n’R with Alila Villas Soori

Bali’s luxurious Alila Villas Soori resort has introduced a range of new three, five, and seven day ‘Relaxology’ retreats designed those seeking to relax and renew. These new retreats combine a daily program of soothing and detoxifying Balinese treatments using locally sourced ingredients with a range of cultural experiences.

Guests can pamper themselves with unique treatments like ‘Soakology’, a signature foot massage with sea salts, herbal oils, ginger lotions, and Alila Detoxifying Bath Salts; or the ‘Volcanic and Rice Bran Lulur’ treatment, which harnesses the benefits of local volcanic sands in a high pressure warm water massage that incorporates a detoxifying volcanic sand body exfoliator, and rice milk and rice bran lotions to improve blood circulation and boost the immune system.

These spa rituals will be combined with a series of 12 new cultural Alila Journeys such as learning to make terracotta earthenware with local blacksmiths from Kerambitan, and mastering the wayang style of artwork. Completing every retreat is a visit to a local market, where guests will source fresh ingredients before participating in an open-air cooking class with the resort’s chefs to create an unforgettable meal that will be served on the resort’s private beach on the final evening.

A five-night retreat is priced from US$2,550 per room, and includes single or double occupancy in a Mountain Pool Villa, daily breakfast, a daily Spa Alila experience, an ‘Exploring Kerambitan’ journey with picnic, a healthy dinner on the beach, return airport transfer, and a scenic helicopter journey on arrival. Guests will also be able to enjoy the complimentary daily yoga sessions available as part of the resort’s daily schedule.
