Harbourside Goes Greek

Harbourside, the InterContinental Hong Kong’s popular all-day-dining restaurant, is known for its elaborate international buffets, but for just two weeks, diners will find a distinctly Greek flavour at the restaurant when it hosts guest chef Alexandros Economidis from the InterContinental Athens Athenaeum, who will be sharing his Greek specialties at the nightly dinner buffet.

Diners will get an authentic taste of Greece through Economidis’ dishes like Octopus, Greek and Politiki Salad; Tzatziki and Eggplant Dips; and favourites like Moussaka; Souvlaki; Pomodoro Tomatoes & Small Green Peppers Stuffed with Rice & Herbs; Ntakas – Wheat Rusks with Goat Cheese, Oregano, and Olive Oil; Beef Skewers with Oregano and Fresh Thyme; Spetzofai (a stew of sausage and peppers); and Lamb Chops with Rosemary. For dessert, Economidis will be serving up sweet indulgences like Kataifi, Baklava, and Walnut Pie. In addition, guests can also enjoy Harbourside’s Seafood & Sushi Dinner Buffet featuring specialties like the US Lobster Mountain, Canadian Snow Crabs, French Brown Crabs, Australian Spanner Crabs, Canadian Scallops, New Zealand Mussles, Thai Shrimp, and Taiwanese Abalone, all freshly prepared.

The buffet is priced at HK$838 (US$108) per adult from Sunday through Friday. The first Saturday seating (530pm-8pm) is priced at HK$738 (US$95) per adult while the second (830pm-11pm) is priced at HK$788 (US$102) per adult.
