Phuket Resort’s Inaugural Wellness Retreat

Luxury beachside retreat JW Marriot Phuket Resort & Spa will hold its first ever ‘wellness workshop’ between September 25 and 29, allowing guests to enjoy four days of seminars and activities led by four internationally-acclaimed health and wellbeing practitioners. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about making important wellness changes and managing stress and tension all within the beautiful natural surrounds of the resort and the calming environment of its award-winning Mandara Spa.

The four practitioners leading the ‘wellness workshop’ are Mandy Kealy, a Guild-certified Feldenkrais practitioner and somatic movement expert; Pat Thummanod, a physical therapist and certified cranio-sacral therapist; Phil Anthony, a detoxification expert; and Nikorn Banjerdlert, a life coach and reiki master.

The ‘wellness workshop’ is limited to between ten and 16 participants and is priced from THB46,000 (US$1,441). Guests on the retreat will enjoy four nights in a Deluxe Sala Garden View Room, daily healthy breakfasts, three lunches, four dinners, and a healthy tea corner during sessions, along with three soothing night spa treatments at the Mandara Spa and a daily programme of wellness seminars with the practitioners. Guests booking with a friend or as a couple will enjoy a special price of THB38,000 (US$1,190) per person for the retreat.
