Conrad Macao Cotai Central Launches ‘Plush for PINK’

Conrad Macao Cotai Central is set to launch the 2014 ‘Plush for PINK’ campaign, an annual event of ‘plush, pink experiences’ in support of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution appeal to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.

Leading the hotel’s lineup of ‘PINK’ experiences are the ‘Plush for PINK’ room upgrade packages which can be requested on check-in. For an additional fee, guests can upgrade their stay in support of the appeal to include complimentary WiFi, a special velvet PINK Conrad bear, and late check out at 2pm. The first package, priced at MOP288 (US$36) also includes PINK welcome drinks for two and a City View room upgrade, while for MOP688 (US$86), guests will also be treated to a Suite upgrade and the PINK Afternoon Tea set.

Themed culinary experiences are also on offer for the duration of the event. Guests can indulge in the PINK Afternoon Tea at the Lounge, which features exquisite sweet and savoury ‘pink’ treats like smoked salmon mousse tartlet with salmon roe; cured prosciutto ham on brioche with plum jelly; and chocolate and raspberry mousse cake. Three tiers are available, each featuring additional inclusions: The Classic set (MOP168/US$21) includes two cups of tea or coffee; the Premium set (MOP188/US$24) includes a ‘pink’ mocktail or cocktail; while the Deluxe set (MOP238/US$30) includes coffee or tea, a ‘pink’ cocktail, and a velvet PINK Conrad bear or PINK Daisy Duck.

A PINK menu is also available at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, Dynasty 8, which features vine ripened cherry tomato with plum dressing; honey-glazed barbecue pork; and steamed lobster with egg white and Chinese wine. The menu is priced at MOP888 (US$111) per person and includes a velvet PINK Conrad bear or PINK Daisy duck, and a MOP100 (US$13) donation.

Guests of the hotel can also participate by making a MOP8 (US$1) donation on checkout. Any guests participating will go into a draw to win a piece of jewellery from international jewellers Butani that’s been exclusively designed for the campaign.
