Harlan Goldstein Marks 20th Anniversary

Michelin-starred chef Harlan Goldstein is celebrating his 20th anniversary in the Hong Kong dining scene with a three-course tasting menu of all-time favourite dishes at his much-lauded eponymous restaurant Gold by Harlan Goldstein.

The anniversary menu beings with a choice of Hokkaido Sea Scallop Carpaccio with Slow-Cooked Egg and White Truffle Dressing; ‘Adriatic Brodetto’ Seafood Soup with Crispy Croutons and Saffron Rouille; or Foie Gras with Pickled Onions, Crostini, Dried Grapes, Japanese Karashi Mustard and Balsamic Syrup. Guests will then indulge in one of the hearty mains on offer, which includes Lobster Spaghetti with Napoli Tomatoes, Fresh Herbs, Crispy Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil; ‘Melt in Your Mouth Salmon’ with Clams, Butternut Squash, Chorizo, Fava Beans, and Spniach; or Grilled 60 Days Wet-Aged US Prime Hanger Steak of Beef with Trademark Horseradish Mashed Potato, Organic Asparagus, and Roasted Garlic Jus. To end the meal on a sweet note, guests will dig into Goldstein’s take on molecular gastronomy, HG’s Nitrogen Dessert Creation.

The celebratory three-course tasting menu is available until October 31, and is priced at HK$580 per person. For an additional HK$328, the meal can be complemented with an optional wine pairing hand-picked by Goldstein. The five-course tasting menu which is a Gold by Harlan Goldstein staple will continue to be served during this period.
