Walking for the Hedonists

Walk into Luxury, a newly-established luxury travel company, is offering guests a new way to explore the southern coastline of Western Australia. As the name suggests, guests will walk the Cape to Cape Track from Cape Naturaliste, past Margaret River, to Cape Leeuwin. Along the way, walkers will explore pristine beaches, limestone cliffs, granite boulders, coastal bushland, and the Boranup Karri forest, while enjoying a host of exclusive extras such as post-walk massages, gourmet food and wine, and luxury accommodation. Time-poor guests can even choose to use the private jet, or arrange helicopter transfers from Perth to Margaret River.

Walks spanning five to eight days are available, each covering between six and 12 kilometres each day, and guests can choose to use a private guide or go it alone with the maps, safety gear, and monitored GPS provided. Along the way, they’ll enjoy luxury resort accommodation with daily in-villa canapés and local wine, and a private in-villa chef experience; exclusive tasting menus and wine pairings at premier Margaret River wineries and restaurants, including Leeuwin Estate and Wills Domain; gourmet hampers packed with fresh local produce to enjoy during the day; air-conditioned transfers between resorts and the walking track each day; and a relaxing massage at a resort spa to finish.

Walk into Luxury is offering introductory pricing on three walks for bookings made before September 30, and are all-inclusive, twin share. Choose the four-day Luxury Taster (AU$1,850/US$1,740); five-day Luxury Escape (AU$2,750/US$2,590); or eight-day Ultimate Luxury (AU$4,350/US$4,095). Prices are per person.
