Exclusive Tour of France’s Best Wines

Luxury travel specialist The Experience Company have created an exclusive new trip for this summer, focusing heavily on its premier area of expertise – the wines of France. The God of Wine & Wines of God itinerary will run from August 23-30, 2014, and will be led by WSET wine expert Julien Yung Mameaux.

Guests on this luxurious wine-focused journey will spend the first two days in Paris at their leisure, enjoying all the City of Lights has to offer, before kicking off the trip with a sumptuous lunch on Sunday afternoon, and boarding a high-speed train for Beaune, Burgundy’s wine capital. Over the eight days, guests will also visit Dijon, Reims, and Epernay as they experience private tastings and VIP experiences at the best boutique wineries and grand maisons, along with sumptuous fine-dining and lifestyle experiences.

The tour covers three of France’s major wine regions; guests will visit more than 12 wineries and taste more than 80 wines over during the course of their excursion. Highlights of the trip include private winery lunches, tasting the top 25 Burgundy wines in Beaune; visiting the cellars of Joseph Drouhin; drinking from wood barrels in the cellars of Louis Jadot; a two-Michelin star dining experience; and VIP visits to the best Champagne houses, including Dom Perignon, Armand de Brignac, and Ruinart.

Guests on the God of Wine and Wines of God tour will also be able to participate in a free tasting session in Hong Kong, and will receive six bottles of Burgundy wines and Champagnes.
