Celebrate Father’s Day and the 2014 FIFA World Cup

This June, The Westin Bund Centre Shanghai will celebrate the 2014 FIFA World Cup and Father’s Day in a lavish brunch that will be the hotel’s dining highlight for the month. Set for June 15, during the first weekend of the highly-anticipated soccer event, the brunch will be hosted at the hotel’s The Stage restaurant.

Taittinger, the official Champagne for this year’s World Cup, and the official pouring champagne for The Westin Bund Center Shanghai, will be on hand to toast the two special occasions, as will free-flowing beers, wine, and manly cocktails. An array of sumptuous dad-friendly food will be available as well, including melt-in-your-mouth foiegras, fresh seafood, sizzling teppanyaki, classic roast meats, tender beef carpaccio, and other delicacies prepared on demand by chefs at action stations placed around the restaurant.

Although it’s a family occasion, a Kid’s Corner, with on-site nannies, toys, cartoons, games, and food, is available so that mom and dad actually get a chance to eat. Rounding out the day’s offerings are number of great prizes including food vouchers, FIFA World Cup 2014 official merchandise, and Taittinger Champagne. The brunch is RMB668 (US$107) per person for adults, and RMB250 (US$40) for children.
