Taste-buds Set to Tango in Singapore



Visitors to Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa can experience a taste of Latin spice with the opening of its new restaurant, Pisco South American Kitchen and Bar. A family style restaurant, Pisco combines the vibrant culture and cuisine of South American with a unique gastronomic dining experience.

The new restaurant’s menu boasts a wide range of traditional dishes from Peru, Chile, and other Latin American countries. Ceviche, the raw seafood dish popular in these countries, is a signature dish here, and is presented in a variety of styles, including Conchas Borrachas (pisco-drunk sea scallops with passionfruit sauce), Pulpo (octopus in a sauce of olives and capers), Salmon Peruviano, and Robalo (sea bass and mango). Also on the menu are combinations of skewers that feature pork belly, chicken, lamb, beef, squid, salmon, sea bass, or octopus; and bocadillos – light bites – like Arepas Venezolans (a Venezuelan corn flatbread sandwich) and Empanadas (minced corn beef in dough parcels).

Paying tribute to its namesake tipple, the cocktail menu overflows with signature Pisco cocktails like the Cocoloco Flip, the Negroni Pisco, the Chicano Classic, and of course, the Pisco Sour.
