Culinary Celebrations in Mauritius

The Bernard Loiseau Culinary Festival is once again set to thrill taste-buds at Constance Hotels & Resorts’ Mauritian properties, Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Le Prince Maurice, between March 30 and April 6. The festival, an annual event since 2006, is a culinary competition which sees six of Europe’s finest chef working alongside chefs from the islands. For guests, it’s an opportunity to sample food prepared by some of the world’s best culinary talents. Guests can participate in the event with cooking demonstrations, special menus prepared by the visiting chefs, and the exciting prize-giving ceremony.

For the festival, Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Le Prince Maurice are offering a special package titled ‘Celebrate the Passion of Gastronomy. The packages at both resorts include seven nights’ accommodation, and a six-star dinner orchestrated by the visiting Michelin-starred chefs. At Constance Belle Mare Plage, guests can choose to stay in a Prestige Room (€3,000/US$4,072, extra nights at €400/US$543) or a Junior Suite (€3,500/US$4,750, extra nights at $485/US$658). Guests of Constance Le Prince Maurice will have the option of a Junior Suite (€4,900/US$6,649, extra nights at €660/US$895) or a Villa (€8,500/US$11,534, extra nights at €1,190/US$1,615) and extra nights will be charged at (US$895) per night.
