London’s Athenaeum Hotel Offers Fitting Farewell for Barry Humphries Show

The London Palladium theatre is playing host to Australian comedian Barry Humphries’ farewell show, ‘Eat, Pray, Laugh’, and to mark this momentous occasion, the Athenaeum Hotel, in London’s luxurious Mayfair district, has developed an exclusive Eat, Pray, Laugh – Stay package for those in town to bid the hilarious satirist farewell.

Inspired by the glitz and glamour of Humphries’ most famous alter ego – Dame Edna Everage – the Eat, Pray, Laugh – Stay package includes two tickets to the show, full English breakfasts for two, a sumptuous cocktail and canapé selection, and luxurious accommodations in a Superior room, whimsically decorated with fresh gladioli flowers. For those wishing to add a bit more flair to their experience, guests can also book a chauffeur-driven 1967 Cadillac to take you to and from the London Palladium, located in the West End.

The Eat, Pray, Laugh – Stay package is available from November 13, 2013 through January 5, 2014, and starts from £452 (US$728). The chauffeur-drive 1967 Cadillac is an optional add-on available on Fridays and Sundays, and must be booked separately for an additional £200 (US$322).
