Spoon by Alain Ducasse is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the return of the celebrity chef for two exclusive, sumptuous dinners. The 2-Michelin star restaurant at the Intercontinental paved the way for celebrity chef-restaurants in Hong Kong, and will be hosting Gala Anniversary Dinners on Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23.
The six-course dinners will begin with a champagne reception at 7pm, where guests can enjoy a glass or two of Alain Ducasse Champagne at the Spoon bar with the celebrated chef. The menu for the 10th anniversary dinners will include marinated sea bass with a Grenobloise-style condiment and mimosa garnish; chicken consommé with chestnut and foie gras; pan-seared scallops with pumpking and tartufi di Alba; roasted duckling with sweet and sour baby beetroot; pineapple, raisin and coconut sorbet; and the ‘chocolate-tangerine bliss’. Guests can choose to complement the cuisine with a wine pairing by Spoon sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi, which will include four different styles of French wines and liqueurs.
The 10th anniversary gala dinners are priced at HK$1,588 (US$205) per person, and the option wine pairing is an additional HK$888 (US$115) per person.
