The Dorchester Set to Offer the Ultimate 007 Experience

London’s famed hotel, The Dorchester, is celebrating the release of the latest James Bond book, ‘Solo’, with a special Bond-style breakfast and ‘Solo’ experience. The new 007 thriller is set in 1969, and opens with the suave spy treating himself to a birthday breakfast of ‘four eggs, scrambled with pepper sprinkled on top, half a dozen rashers of unsmoked bacon, well done, on the side, and a long draught of strong black coffee’ at The Dorchester’s legendary restaurant, The Grill.

Until the end of November, guests can enjoy a leisurely Bond-style breakfast at The Grill. The full English Breakfast is priced at £32, and guests quoting ‘Solo’ at the time of reservation will receive a complimentary copy of the book, as well as the option of listening to hits from the ‘60s on an iPod, a copy of an extract from a national newspape, and the restaurant’s menu from 1969, all while enjoying a silver service breakfast in keeping with the era.

For those wanting the full James Bond Solo experience, stay the night at The Dorchester, and request the ‘007 Room Service’. Your room will be arranged with a complete library set of Ian Fleming’s Bond Collection and an accompanying Martini nightcap, as well as a copy of the new William Boyd-penned Bond thriller, ‘Solo’.
