Spa Village Resort Tembok, Bali, Unveils Holistic Retreat

YTL Hotel’s Spa Village Resort Tembok, Bali has unveiled its holistic retreat, School of Life (SOL), designed to offer rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation amid the spectacular backdrops of Mount Batur and the Bali Sea. Set on Bali’s unspoiled northeastern coast, the School of Life program has been developed to initiate healthy lifestyle changes with carefully designed bespoke itineraries of three, five, or seven days.

Before arriving, guests will fill out a questionnaire which will allow the facilitators at the School of Life to assess individual needs and create a tailor-made program which addresses guests’ goals. The journey begins en route to the resort, where guests will refresh themselves with a local fruit salad, and are encouraged to stop at ancient temples, rice paddies, or coffee plantations at their leisure. On arrival, guests will participate in a consultation which takes them through their personalised itinerary which features a daily schedule of movement and awareness practices, wellness workshops, spa treatments, creativity classes, cooking classes, and specially crafted meals. The cuisine at the Wantilan Restaurant is overseen by executive chef Martin Buchele, and focuses on healthy, sustainable food which incorporates watchwords like ‘raw’, ‘fresh’, ‘wholefoods’, ‘locally-sourced’ and ‘delicious’.

Packages for the five-day, four-night School of Life retreat start at US$300 per room per night, and include accommodation, daily meals, activities, spa treatments, and return airport transfers.
