Luxurious Lodge at The Hills Opens in New Zealand

Set in the picturesque surrounds of The Hills, one of the most exclusive golf courses in New Zealand, the newly-opened Lodge at The Hills is a luxurious property that offers guests total privacy and incredible scenery just 20 minutes from the country’s adventure capital of Queenstown, and five minutes from historic Arrowtown.

Developed by entrepreneurs and art patrons Sir Michael and Lady Christine Hill and designed by Crosson Clarke Carnachan Chin Architects, Lodge at The Hills boasts innovative flair and creative design with unusual construction materials like iron, natural zinc, and corten steel. The opulent lodge is an exclusive-use property featuring just six spacious suites of 13,500sqft which have ensuite bathrooms with soak tubs, and expansive living areas – some with gas fires. The Lodge also houses an extensive collection of Maori and contemporary Asian and New Zealand art that makes up one of the largest private art collections in the world.

Guests of the Lodge will enjoy five nights’ exclusive-use accommodation; all meals, including afternoon tea and canapés; a selection of local wine and French champagne; helicopter transfers; use of the Lodge’s Range Rover Sport; unlimited golf at The Hills; a private chef; and a guided tour of the sculpture park.
