White Truffle Temptation

Pierre Gagnaire’s Michelin-starred signature restaurant, Pierre, on the 25th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, will offer a special White Truffle tasting menu from November 4, 2013. Legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire and Jean-Denis Le Bras, chef de cuisine will showcase their extraordinary creative talent and create together a special five-course menu in which each dish will incorporate this exquisite seasonal ingredient. The price of this five-course tasting menu will be HK$2,988 (US$385) per person and the dishes can be ordered individually. This special menu, which includes dishes like baby squid mariniere, with preserved garlic, tomato heart, button mushroom jelly, and olive oil ice cream; the corolla of scallops, with braised turnip with white port; and the Carnaroli risotto with pumpkin, tiny artichokes, pine nuts, and an arugula Chantilly.
