Michelin-rated Cuisine at Huka Lodge

New Zealand's Huka Lodge has appointed well-known British chef Paul Froggatt, most recently of Hong Kong's Landmark Mandarin Oriental two Michelin-star Amber Restaurant, as its new executive chef.
Trained in England and France where career highlights included working at two Michelin-starred Gidleigh Park Hotel, three-starred Bernard Loiseau en Bourgogne, and one-starred Chateau de Courcelles. He has also worked at two of Singapore's popular leading European restaurants San Marco and Saint Pierre.
“As a chef, I've always had two ambitions for my career,” says Froggartt.“The first was to cook to the highest level of Michelin Stars and I've now done this at three of Europe's great restaurants. The second has been to work at a leading lodge, where I can create the sort of environment where guests feel welcome and at home, almost as if they were in my own kitchen. For this reason, working with Huka Lodge is a dream come true for me.”
Paul's arrival at Huka Lodge will coincide with some of the region's best produce coming into season, and this will greatly influence some of the menus he is planning for guests over the coming months.
