Windstar Cruises Presents the Best of Spain

Windstar Cruises is offering guests a chance to experience the best gastronomic experiences in Spain and Portugal on an exclusive eight-night cruise aboard their Wind Surf sailing yacht.
Able to accommodate 310 guests, Wind Surf will whisk lucky holiday-makers through Lisbon, Cadiz, Malaga, Aimeria, Cartagena, Valencia, Soller and Barcelona as they feast on the best food and drink available in a region known for its gastronomic delights.
In addition to daily wine tastings throughout the cruise, guests will enjoy tantalising menus of authentic Spanish dishes prepared by a SAVEUR culinary expert, paired with selections of six regional Spanish wines crafted by acclaimed winemaker Jorge Ordonez. The package also includes two complimentary vineyard and culinary shore excursions, a chance to participant in cooking demonstrations of local cuisine, and a special onboard flamenco performance.
Guests will be treated to a visit to Jerez de la Frontera, the ‘Sherry Capital of the World’, explore the Museo de Vino – wine museum – in Mijas, and immerse themselves in Spanish culture by participating in different events and activities like snacking on tapas, preparing paella under the expert guidance of a local chef, and producing olive oil in the traditional method in Mallorca. 
The cruise departs Lisbon on April 19, 2014. Prices begin from AU$3,810 (US$4,300) per person, in twin-share accommodation.
